At the time of the shareholder meeting, the article had not been rejected. Most rejected articles are rejected right away, so I think the company knew that they had to get both studies published and must have felt that they were being given the runaround (no journal is completely above politics because many editors have done research in the field they are critiquing). I think they wanted to get both results out there ASAP to be contemporaneous with the ad campaign. A sound business decision.

Anyway, this is good because if this does not move the stock so as to spike significantly, and its base continues higher - and the shorts do ot cover, the second study results (preventive effects and known viral stran exposure) will cause the spring to tighten. The bottom line is that when there is real news, it will be picked up.
