Wildcat, maybe the MMs are painting the tape? I saw a comment on one of these threads where a poster suggested that 100-200 share trades is a signal to the other MMs that they should change the stocks near term direction. I must admit to not having an opinion on that comment, but I have never figured out why anyone would trade less stock than most commissions. If anyone else can confirm the poster's conjecture, let us know.
