Hi Jim:

I think that WOFDM and VOFDM are aiming at somewhat
different markets. WOFDM is aimed at the wireless LAN
market. VOFDM can handle that, but the ``killer
application' market is likely to be MMDS type
of applications, where the ability to get around the
line of sight requirement will make VOFDM a tremendously
attractive proposition for WCOM/FON, and perhaps
T's project Angel. The only issue is time to market.
CSCO is late to the party and it will need to
execute perfectly during the next 12 months.
