You almost had it correct - I was asked to appear on Home and Garden Television's newest show, Thatch Game 2000. I won't even tell you what show the Playboy Channel wanted me on, but I had to respectfully decline both offers.
I am currently recovering from the annual Halloween blowout that I've hosted for ages. The scariest thing this year was the sound of somebody pumping the keg at 8:00 in the morning! Horrifying to say the least. I did perform the "Casting of Greenspan from the Market" ritual, accompanied by myself on theremin and electric guitar. Quite a crowd pleaser if I do say so myself.
The good news is that soon (hopefully by the end of the year) you will be able to actually witness events like this over the world wide web. Yes folks, it is true, C Nelson Reilly is feverishly working on a web site. I basically have a full digital broadcasting studio right in my own humble abode. The casual surfer will be able to see streaming video of the Greenspan ritual, view actual photos of the eBay antique smoking jacket that gives me my considerable powers, witness the splendor of my pathetic golf swing, and a bunch of other fun features and recipes to boot! The first prototype pages are finished; the whole process is time consuming and generates no income, but I don't have a job anyway so what the heck.
