I agree it is transparent PR. I know Nextel is desperate for new spectrum going forward, but does anyone really think they would be willing to spend $6 billion for this? It's a ploy to make the bankruptcy court think the spectrum is worth more than it is hence, no fair deal for Nextwave then Nextel can pick it up for less if Nextwave balks at the price.

Does anyone know what the changes in FCC regulations are the article referred to?
