GJC,

I must admit that I spoke with Pat Meding of Forte' Communications last week for the first time in many months. She's a nice lady and I have no grudge against her personally. Her partner is another issue.
But basically, I have called a truce with regards to MSU.

Yes, the technology is real, but so is everyone else's. What matters is locking in OEM manufacturers into your hardware architecture. It is imperative that MSU fully exploit any opportunity to liscense its technology before they are overcome by better marketing and sweetheart deals from competitors. If you need a comparison, compare APPL vs MSFT and why DOS became the prevalent O/S over APPL's better system.. (so it crashes from time to time... :0)

MSU has to get off of its duff and lock in some deals that produce revenue and royalties. They have had 2 products, Minstrel and Netbox, that have yet to be fully marketed despite promises and contracts dating over a year.

MSU has suffered a tremendous blow with the loss of Keith Hall, who retired this year. Keith was the man with the marketing savvy that MSU required. It seems that Wyn Holloway now has full control of MSU's marketing strategy and this causes me some concern. He wants any deals to be primarily on MSU's expensive terms. (my opinion based on past conversations with a variety of knowledgable individuals)

That is why I wouldn't touch this stock, except as a trading vehicle for nimble folks, until they release positive earnings. When you see that and you can feel comfortable that the revenue stream will continue and grow, then I would look at the stock again.

My opinion, and my opinion only. (because you asked... :0)

Regards,

Ron
