Hold on? Buy in? 3 Words: Why, Why, Why???
A lot of irrational thinking going on here, IMHO. The first step of grieving is denial. I guess I'll chalk it up to that.
I think the stock we all want to own has: intrinsic value (i.e, assets, preferably source(s) of revenue), cash, good management (i.e., respected, capable, proven track record, connections), a plan (short, mid and long range), minimal downside risk, and value actively being added to the Company. (We all might want to print off a similar checklist and keep it handy when we go shopping for stocks and/or periodically reviewing our holdings in the future...)
Run STS against the checklist. STS has....well, minimal downside risk, I guess. How much lower than $.12 can you go, after all. ($.12--my prediction for Monday).
Not worth selling? Am I missing something? What you paid for this stock is completely irrelevant. Considering that bit of data for one second only clouds the current reality. Any stock is worth selling (should be sold!) if there is a better investment to put your money into. And heaven help anyone that thinks STS-April 11, 1997 is the best place they can have their money.
The only thing you'll lose by getting off this sinking ship now is an extra brokerage fee.
