Very good post Level Head. It makes a person think.

Did the killers track any blood out of the house? If they did the cops could check everyones shoes in New York City and that would narrow the suspects list down because I doubt if more than 5 or 6 percent of the people in NYC have any blood on their shoes.

I remember when Barney thought there were 3 cow thieves but sheriff Taylor figured out that it was just one guy that was really smart and put shoes on the cow he was stealing.
