THE GAY BLADE /or WHEN IS GAY NOT GAY The men's store in Northgate Mall in Seattle several decades ago used the above inspiring name. There they were happy, congenial, nice, married, straight, ordinary church-goers, family men, and fathers. Time passed. The name and ownership changed. I wonder why? Weren't they still happy?
