ATI Ships Two Million Graphics Boards in October

TORONTO, Nov. 1 /CNW-PRN/ - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSE:ATY, NASDAQ:ATYT) today announced that it shipped two million graphics boards in October, providing a strong start to its fiscal year 2000 which began September 1st. ATI also ended Fiscal 1999 with a bang, shipping two million graphics boards in August.
ATI, the world's leading supplier of graphics chips to all of the leading computer makers, manufacturers and distributes its own graphics and multimedia boards to a wide customer audience that includes the major build-to-order OEMs, system builders in North America, Europe, Asia and Japan and large retail distributors in all markets.
Hitting the two million boards target in October gives ATI an industry record no other graphics supplier can match,' said K.Y. Ho, President and CEO, ATI Technologies Inc. ``The OEM and system integrator board business accounted for about two-thirds of our revenues in Fiscal 1999 and we plan to continue to pursue it vigorously.'
