After the close I shut down the computer and walked into the hallway on the way to the kitchen when I noticed something gross standing out against the off-white carpet. Not hairballs, again! I thought. That darn cat! Then I looked closer and noticed it was the head of a mouse. Yep. A mighty fine trophy just for me. Whatever happened to Baby Jane, indeed! Well, it was that kind of day.
