James Taylor brought this lady on stage with him at a concert in 1969. She could really belt out some tunes. I had to have her tapestry album as soon as I could get to it. Several years passed before I learned that she was the writer behind many a famous singer spanning several decades. Yes, very influential and very different in her overall contribution than Joni (my favorite) but in both cases we are looking at a phenomenon that is generation specific.
