to thread,

i was all set to install some software (from youbet.com) until i read that the most recent version of ie would be installed along with everything else if i was not already running it. yikes!

i keep ie4 on my machine to go to when netscape acts up. i like 4.0 okay. but i've really been reluctant to go to 5.0. i've heard that it's difficult to uninstall. and i think there are security issues too.

is there anyone here who uses ie5 and loves it and feels that there is no problem with it? i may just have to cave in and go for the ie browser upgrade.

words of encouragement? discouragement?

:)
