luis: Just popped in and noticed your post. The machines as you call them are an outright sale. However SERVICE CONTRACTS are also bought by the user or buyer..Not to confuse you I BUY a Scanner (I am the Buyer) and set up a clinic which I have you run for me (you are the User)..We both need FONAR to service and/or repair the Scanner..That is where FONAR keeps making money.. Not to mention UP-DATES< Hope that makes it a little clearer. Bill PS- Buy a TV you need Cable then you need VCR then you need tapes then a Cam Corder and so on an so on.
