Hi Bullmart, In my younger years, I would have whole-heartedly supported your idea. Give people an incentive to talk about something. But now I loathe the idea because it introduces an element of friends using friends to make money. Keep you friends and do them a favor by pointing out a good deal. You will be paid back in kind. Also keeps the bank in good standing in the community. When your friends find out (and they will) that you sold them on the bank and if the bank does not perform in any little way they will also blame you for hiding it. "You sold them for a lousy $20", they will say. Just my thoughts and am amazed how they have changed over the years! I have enjoyed mentioning the deal to three people since Friday and they have all signed up. One has a huge checking account(20K average) as he runs a business with it. The B&M bank was not paying him one cent. So buy the stock and then recommend the bank! A little better! DO your own DD of course. Harry
