I don't know. This lawsuit thing looks like a red herring to me. The CC was dull as dishwater.. reminded me of those awful Westell and Ariel calls I used to sit through. You find yourself yelling at the speakerphone: "Get to the &^#$*^-ing point! AGGGGHHH!!!" at which point cats run away and spouse look at you funny.

The 52-week low set back in January is 5.125. Hard to believe it could retest that since in the intervening they've put together consecutive EBITDA-positive quarters and are shedding underperforming and non-strategic assets. The trick now is growing the sales force fast enough to capture the opportunities afforded by their network. I'm not a chart technician but http://~wsapi/investor/chart?s=gstx&pts=100&span=Weeks suggests good support at 5+.

GSTX's takeover value has gone up quite a bit in my eyes as the RBOCs (except BLS <-> USW/QWST) are looking to push into one another's territories. In fact one of the preconditions of the SBC/AIT merger is that they enter local markets outside their combined footprint. Fiber giants are also looking to buy customers and local fiber loops.

Anyway, GSTX grazed 18 this summer. I think with a little luck and a little more charisma from management it can regain the low teens pretty easily.
