Thread--A question. (Actually, several!) If someone buys a DRDRAM machine for Christmas, will he be able to upgrade, say in two years, with an overspeed processor running at 1.6GHz? Should he expect to be able to upgrade his DRDRAM past the 256Meg?

Similarly, if he buys a PC133 machine for Christmas, he'd be able to upgrade the same cpu, I presume? And what dram will he be able to upgrade to?

And finally, what will the relative performance of the two machines be in two years?

Would appreciate reasonable responses.

Best,
JS
