Jules - Re: "Whisper Numbers" This whole idea is repulsive. Should Intel (or any other business) provide "whisper" guidance to analysts separate from their published/documented statements? Why don't people call a spade a spade - it's all Bullsh*t. Tell Zack's, First Call, etc. to shut down and go home. Of what value are their published estimates if nobody pays attention to them? Fools will buy their services and pay attention to their prognostications. The Real Manipulators will huddle in cloak rooms, or discuss over their Big Apple Power Lunches (in low voices) what the rest of the world - who is working for a living - is expected to produce. If Shakespeare were alive today, I think he would have the lawyers shot second and you-know-who shot first. Paul
