Often the first one to the market with a product wins.
Despite all the dislike I sense on these threads for
Att, I'm worried that with their marketing muscle combined
with the fact they seem to me to be the first company to
announce widespread availability of an XSDL technology
to the public, they may derail Amati.
Look at IBM PC's vs Apple's technologies when both
were new in the 80's, and look at who has won in the
long run.
