EURO-EBAY QUESTION: From what I can gather, eBay in the USA has about 3 million people involved in registered person-to-person transactions on their site?? We know from eBay's last press release the value of the transactions is about US$3 billion. What's happening in Europe with eBay-and Euro-eBay (QXL.com)? QXL.com is in 5 countries. Is there any indication of the number of people involved in their Web sites overall or in each country? I know they don't have $3 billion worth of transactions, but the potential is there for a lot more if eBay-USA is any indication. Especially when you consider the history of flea markets and the antique business in Europe.
