(OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS), the leading provider of full-length online movies scaleable to full screen size and available in tv-quality at Broadband speed, is adding StreetPop.com to its KKRS.Net entertainment web portal. This portion of the Kanakaris web site will be tailored to youth with a multimedia array of offerings. The Internet represents the fastest growing marketplace for youth oriented sales, and Kanakaris will potentially generate revenue from online ad sales, access fees, and product sales commissions.
StreetPop.com films will be offered for all Internet users ranging from 56k to Broadband access utilizing Microsoft Windows Media 4 Technology. All users are able to increase the size of the movie picture up to the full size of their computer monitor, with Broadband users receiving TV-quality delivery. Books will be offered with unique technology allowing readers to turn online pages without scrolling, search text by word or phrase, and resize type.
StreetPop.com will feature children and youth oriented material joining www.NetMovieMania.com, featuring on-demand online feature films, and www.NetBooks.com, featuring secure over-the-Internet delivery of books, as well as www.ILSN.com, focusing on interaction with the Internet life style, as one of the KKRS.Net entertainment web channels.
Yesterday (Nov. 1), SyCoNet.com (OTC Bulletin Board: SYCD) announced it has formed an alliance with Kanakaris Communications, Inc. to license and distribute Anime Films and Books for exclusive direct over-the-Internet delivery. SyCoNet.com Inc., formerly SyCoDistribution Inc., distributes Anime Japanese animated movies, including the enormously popular Pokemon(R) video series, live action cult films, multimedia games and software, DVD's, CD's, toys apparel, and related merchandise to over 1,000 wholesale and retail accounts nationwide through two high traffic websites, a catalog, and direct sales campaign.
Kanakaris is actively seeking additional youth oriented multimedia content, and plans to introduce the web channel within 30 days and progressively build its content base. Revenue will potentially be generated to Kanakaris through advertising, product sales revenues, and access fees to portions of the web site.
The StreetPop.com web name and a brand identity campaign plan were developed in house. Kanakaris has a history of web site names which are derived from the word pop. CyberPop, home in December, 1995, of the first full-length movie with no download time, and LAPop, a regional specialty site, are two earlier examples.
