Richnorth has it ever occured to you that if there was salting going on, which I do not for one second believe, that the salting being done was done by someone else, to produce higher than normal grades, in an attempt to discredit Bre-X, when the expected high assay results were published?
I know you will poo poo that idea but it is the only conceivable one that comes to mind if any salting has indeed taken place.
I know you think this ridiculous but it ties in with the theory if Mr De Guzman did not commit suicide, and now with the orchestrated campaign to discredit Mr de Guzman by certain media, so if Strathcona's results are lower than Bre-x's, Mr de Guzman will probably have been set up, Bre-X discredited, and dead men don't talk. And Freeport will have been vindicated because they are too powerful to try and discredit. Barrick, not neccessarily even in Barrick's name, grabs control of Bre-X's 45% of Busang, has an arrangement made with the Indonesian Partners, which excluding Mr Hasan and the Indonesian Government, control, I believe 15%, of Busang, thereby effectively controling 60% and end up with control of Busang. Or if arrangements are not made with the Indonesian Partners, perhaps arrangements are or can be made with the Indonesian Government. I wonder exactly which person in the Indonesian Government actually controls the voting priviledges for that 10%.
Bingo and checkmate.
If this scenario is not true why on March 22/97 was there an article on Kompas online suggesting that Barrick would pay 10% stock to the Indonesian Partners of Busang? I thought Barrick's role in Busang ended when Bre-X signed an agreement with Freeport, its Indonesian Partners, and the Indonesian Government on Feb 17/97?
I really would like to know a lot more details about that little talked about fire. Such as who else was around at the time besides Bre-X? Was the fire at night when things are harder to see? Who came on the property to help put out the fire? What exactly got supposedly destroyed or were things stolen by unknown people during the resulting confusion of a fire setting? If someone knew from these records where the gold is, and is not, would it not have been possible for a lab to salt the samples in a low grade area, unknown to Bre-x? Then when Freeport does their drilling in what Bre-X thought was the highest grade area, Freeport actually drilled in the lowest grade area.
I, as well as some others, would like to know a whole lot more about the lab where Bre-X took their samples for testing. For example has there been a recent change in ownership?
Read the Prize canbus.com if you haven't read it for some understanding about the recent history of Busang and perhaps you will begin to understand what I am talking about.
Does anyone know whether Bre-x's next annual meeting is before or after the Strathcona results?
If this scenario is true and the annual meeting is shortly after the release of the Strathcona results Bre-X management might lose control of Bre-X in the ensuing hubbub.
Just some thots folks. |
