Personal Income for Sept. = unch Spending = +0.4%
bea.doc.gov Personal income increased $2.6 billion, or less than 0.1 percent, and disposable personal income (DPI) decreased $15.4 billion, or 0.2 percent, in September, according to the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis. Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $25.9 billion, or 0.4 percent. In August, personal income increased $28.3 billion, or 0.4 percent, DPI increased $36.4 billion, or 0.5 percent, and PCE increased $50.5 billion, or 0.8 percent, based on revised estimates. |
