Cognitronics Signs Agreement with Nortel Networks
  DANBURY, Conn., Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognitronics Corporation (Amex: CGN - news) announced today the signing of an agreement with Nortel Networks Corporation under which Nortel Networks will undertake to qualify Cognitronics' lines of voice information products for resale to Nortel Networks' customers for use on its high capacity, state-of-the-art telephone network switching systems.
  Upon successful completion of the qualification process, Cognitronics' family of voice information systems will be eligible for resale by Nortel Networks to its customers for use on its DMS-100, DMS-250 and DMS-500 switching systems to provide a variety of voice announcements, including changed number intercept, time and weather, audiotext and Centrex ACD on-hold announcements. The McIAS 16xx product line is presently qualified for use on Nortel Networks' DMS-10 switch.
