There is so much to know. The longer I kept my shop the more I realized I'll never get familiar with everything.

I was intrigued by E's post and went poking around the used book sites. I found this description of Sons and Daughters on Bibliofind:

"Scarlatti-like dialogue, atrocious crimes, tyranny enthroned in the bosom of the family, the Victorian paterfamilias as a root of all evil and justice proceeding ineluctably as in her favorite models in Greek tragedy."

Sheesh, the apercus better be real good to make that worth slogging through, although the Scarlatti-like dialogue might be fun. Maybe she should have been a playwright.
