You are Right! I wish more companies were better at self promotion; they just don't deserve the price the stock is trading at. Online Trading/Quote providing is a commodity business, and TRAC is a very small fish in this ever growing ocean. It's #1 problem is lack of industry review, and all these gimmicky press releases won't impress me until they expose themselves to the critique of their peers. They also don't have any ties with other content providers. These alliances are expensive but needed to market their service. They are hypnotised by this corporate mantra that the CEO only this morning confirmed on the Yahoo thread that "if they try it, they will come". He is probably in a better position to confirm that than I can be, however you can't get people to try it, when they don't know about it(marketing tie ins) and are not sure they can trust it(industry peer review). As a former DBCC user now using TRAC, what attracted me to TRAC is the pay as you play model of only paying for features you actually use. I hated paying DBCC $100 for crap I did'nt need. I now pay $40 and get everything I need from TRAC. I am a satisfied customer for real time quotes. Would I use them for my online stock trading without first reading a peer group critical review? NO Would I recommend TRAC to the more serious daytrader? NO Would I recommend them to casual daytraders like me? YES, and have. BTW, they owe me money from several referrals...
