Corporation to deliver to market a multi-gigabit platform for Token Ring and Ethernet networks. The agreement allows
Madge.connect to deliver gigabit switching solutions for Token Ring users based on Intel's advanced Gigabit Ethernet switching
platform.

Committed to helping customers' smooth migration towards IP-based applications and the convergence of voice, video and
data, the agreement will enable Madge.connect to offer a comprehensive backbone switching solution that supports the
integration of Token Ring and Ethernet data on a common backbone. By offering a Gigabit solution for Token Ring users,
Madge.connect will give Token Ring network managers the investment protection and solid development path they need as
