Kim: Was having the same thought, having a hard time to find bargains. Many of the stocks on my tracking list are at all time highs. Fed meeting 2 weeks away, must not forget the Y2K fear factor year end. Have had a great two weeks, or should I say incredible two weeks! Have been taking profits this morning, market looks ripe for profit taking to kick in. When I am looking at so many stocks that have reached the stratosphere in a mere few weeks - caution sets in. (live by my rule, never get greedy, chip away and always take profit - protect capital to trade for another day). However I did not want to sound like a pessimist when everyone is having such a party!
