Newbridge blowing up should not be news anyone who follows the network ing world. It has been decimated by Ascend products. More evidence of how Ascend ATM equipment has displaced NN specially in international markets where NN was strong. Lucent is concentrating hard on those markets for future growth and thats where growth will be. Short term flat performances for a period of 6 months due a bunch of reasons like balance sheet issues (improving) Y2K concerns (once in a lifetime event) manipulation by bearish hedge funds (been proven to be wrong) is running its course. -Hitesh
