David,

I have read your proposed strategy with much interest and now am researching it in light of McMillan's book which I recently bought. I am so heavily margined and have so many of the Wade Cook recommended stocks that rolling down is not going to help me much at this stage. The majority of my stocks dropped too much too quick. I'm not sure about setting stop losses at this time. My stocks dropped so fast that I'm not sure I could have executed them quick enough. Your solution sounds interesting and I am now checking it out with my broker. I still think covered calls is a good way to go, but I'm finding out the hard way that picking good stocks using technical analysis is really tough. Good luck.
