And another...NATIONAL TELEVISION ADDED TO PROMOTE MILLIONAIRE.COM
HILTON HEAD, S.C., Nov 2, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Millionaire.com (OTC Bulletin Board: MLRE) owner of Millionaire Magazine, announced today plans to commence advertising Millionaire Magazine on national television this year.
Millionaire Magazine, published monthly, is tailored to wealthy men and women who appreciate the finer things in life, and who have the resources to afford and enjoy them. Millionaire's editorial scope ranges from Art to Yachting, Asset Management to Celebrity Profiles, Antiques to Home Theater, Collectible Automobiles to Watches & Jewelry, Real Estate to Wine & Spirits.
Since Millionaire was acquired by Millionaire.com earlier this year it has been completely redesigned, according to publisher Robert White. White, who was the founder and publisher of Robb Report magazine until it was sold in the mid 80s, reports that "Millionaire Magazine is flourishing with over 100,000 copies being published each month. Advertisers in Millionaire are reporting a constant stream of business from their ads and our new on-line auction service is attracting Internet users to Millionaire.com's site where advertisers in Millionaire Magazine appear."
A recent "48 Hours" feature on Robert White, contributed to the company's decision to now offer the magazine on national television. White, who was interviewed on "48 Hours" about Millionaire Magazine earlier this year, reports that "48 Hours" introduced Millionaire Magazine to millions of national TV viewers for the first time. "The reaction by viewers of the '48 Hours' report on Millionaire was very positive among millionaires, soon to be millionaires and advertisers and contributed to our decision to start offering Millionaire to national television audiences on a regular basis," White stated.
Production and placement of the Millionaire direct response television commercials is being handled by Walton Associates, Inc. of Dallas, a national direct response agency that specializes in magazine television advertising. According to White, it is planned for the Millionaire TV commercials intended to air on such national networks as CNN, Headline News, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News and others before the end of 1999.
Millionaire.com, owner of Millionaire Magazine, is a multi-dimensional company marketing products direct to consumers through the company's web site (www.millionaire.com ), its online LIVE internet auctions, as well as auctions held at the company's facilities.
