Doug, the 36170 is a dated switch at this point. Certainly in the US, where things are moving a breakneck speed, lack of a core solution, eliminates them from consideration in many cases, IMO. No evidence to really back this up, but its a logical conclusion.

If they can deliver the 50G on time (not a certainty yet), and truly demonstrate this 450G monster in the next year, they could become an attractive takeover candidate. As it stands, with a 12G and 50G switch, its hard to see them garnering any "new" major wins away from LU/ASND in the US. The story is just not that compelling.
