I'm beginning to wonder if these "items of the century" chosen by fortune are more of a joke. The businesspeople are right on, so they put some thought into those, but Cobalt is right, duct tape must be a joke.

As far as clothing items, tennis shoes seem to be a much better choice than loafers for example.. the microwave oven is good, but what about frozen food... duct tape rises above all else..?? Nah, it must be a joke!
