On the Yahoo board, people wanted Echelon to marry Cisco, or perhaps Sun, and soon! One poster, Imation2127, has recently proposed Germany's Siemens as a suitor that could lock up the European protocols and market. I wouldn't be surprised if it were Microsoft, even though Scott McNeally, on whose Sun board Dr. Oshman serves, would probably hate it. That might be one more nail in their monopoly coffin. But the SEC and FTC probably wouldn't understand the significance anyway. Bill
