Interesting... I am wondering why you guys would think I would know him... and why you think it signifies much.

Fortune chose Schwab in that category who I am aware of. Mutual funds are not as popular with my age group I thought, especially since the advent of e-trading.. and for industry people they are almost irrelevant, there are individual stocks such as CMGI which can essentially replace sector funds, etc.

Of course there is the regional aspect, Fidelity being out your way, so you probably know Johnson just like I know, say, the Cornishes. You know the Cornishes, right? They did some revolutionary things in the real estate business. Of course they are local, but unless you are really myopic you would know them, right? I mean just because Fortune didn't pick the Cornish family to include on their list is no excuse really... you should know them, and if you don't well... I guess you think the east coast is the center of the universe and clam chowder is the world's most perfect food! rofl!
