TPWR is setting up the system for real players (2Mill a year and plus players besides average bettors)... . In other words, with TVG they (viewers) get to see the big tracks but will still have to bet with Penn National. Can't wager except in 3 states with TVG. Besides, TVG is not for the betting fan. The real bettors want to watch the horses before they enter the gate, see the ever changing odds and so forth (this is what you get with TrackPower). With TVG they start the telecast as they leave the gate; some races are not live; most tracks you can not see their entire schedule of races (example: you will see the 6th, 7th, and 8th race at Churchill but you will not see the first 5 because they will show other tracks). What does this mean??? TVG is not providing a system for betting that the tracks are satisfied with. If these big tracks have signed exclusive agreements with TVG and they are not telecasting their entire track schedule then this is not profitable for the race tracks. The TPWR format allows the bettor, the race track to benefit. TVG is a mickey mouse production. Don't be suprised to find some race tracks crying Breach of Contract if TVG signed exclusive agreements yet they are not showing a live telecast of the entire race schedule. We are going to see some fall out soon. Expect the industry leaders to follow up and take sides and you will see TPWR gain momentum. It seems to me the foundation for building Rome is with TPWR.
