DoubleD, Please do not misunderstand the following comment - I am very appreciative that you would take the time to explain to me the "benefits" of forward selling - but I assure you I am well aware of what forward selling is intended to do. The gold market though, particularly of late, is about psychology - and that sometimes means having to forego certain practices for the benefit of the industry as a whole. And IMO forward selling is one of them - despite the fact it may increase the bottom line in the short term, for one particular company. You either believe in your commodity/industry or you don't - Barrick has to show they do, 100%. Other large companies do - time they did too. Best to you, MB
