I joke that they should name a room for me at the library, as I've probably funded one with my overdue fines. The pathetic thing is that I can renew books on the Internet, all I need to do is log onto the website with my library card number. In fact, I can also renew books via telephone, but as much time as I spend on the Internet, there's no excuse, except that I never seem to think of it. Oh, woe. I am very well-liked by many librarians, as I let them chastise me while I act humble and abject, it's great sport for them, I think. Librarians are on such power trips, don't you think? I mean, for such meek people.
