Jim - I don't pretend to know a lot about the subject of investment strategy. Once I made up my mind to "stop buying pennies" I looked closer to home. Last January PCS was at $12 and I thought it was undervalued, so I bought a lot of it (for me anyway). I sold in August @$57. That One transaction took me way past even on the pennies. (Since then PCS has gone over $80). I have re-invested some of the profit in other issues that have already doubled. (I would rather not divulge the tickers on those).

I stopped reading all the BS on the Net about stocks. I watch CNBC when I can. I deleted all of the stock programs from my hard drive and turned off Level 2 data. I read the financial section in the local paper and scan WSJ when I feel like it.

The information about new products from established companies has proven most valuable to me. I'm not a sector player and I stay away from things I don't understand.

That's about it. Good luck.
