Hi Dan3; Re Linux. I am sure that your understanding of the future of MSFT and Linux is far beyond what I could hope for. So please continue to comment on this. Questions: When, if ever, am I going to be able to choose an operating system? That is, when will most common, big name, software run on both machines, or is there some software that allows the user to cross run? Or whatever. Educate me. And how does that have much to do with AMD, which is, after all, the subject of this thread? -- Carl
