Jorj & John, Welcome, and consider yourselves charter members of The Players Club... What I hope will become THE PLACE to get informed on the next big play and how to play it.

Well friends... Let's get this party started right!! I will now officially RESTART the futures contest that was underway on another thread that goes unnamed. Several improvements will be made to make this an even better contest, and if you or any of the other continuing participants have any input on how to make it better, please let me know.

1) The restart will provide all contestants with a minimum of $250,000 to encourage all involved to continue, and to give everyone a chance to catch Zero by 11/24. If a sponsor is found after 11/24 who will award prizes to top performers, we will reset EVERYONE'S equity to $250,000 in order to make it a fair contest for the sponsor to get behind. The 3 night accommodations in a luxury hotel in Myrtle Beach still stands for the winner of the contest segment through 11/24. Zero... Sure hope you like to play golf, fish, or play tennis. <g>

2) For those with over $250,000 on 10/29's close, they keep their gains. Everyone restarts with 0 open positions. An equity statement for all participants will follow. Trading restarts @ 8am on 11/3, and trading may now be done 24 hours a day. For trade reporting purposes, the day will still end at 4:15pm, so trades done after 4:45pm during the globex session should be included on the next days report.

3)The elimination floor will now be $150,000 instead of $50,000 as in the prior contest. If a participant's equity slips under $150,000, they will be eliminated from the contest, but may immediately place themselves on the waiting list, and may re-enter the contest after a 5 trading day period. This change is enacted because most professional money managers have the account pulled from them if drawdowns exceed 30% of original equity.

4) Previous participants wishing to continue should place a trade on this thread or notify me directly that they would like to continue by Friday, 11/5's close. Those who do not will be removed from the contest standings.

All other procedures and guidelines as shown in this post remain in effect unless revised within the 4 paragraphs above. Message 11396611

My committment to this contest was never in jeopardy, but could not be continued at the prior thread due to the shocking betrayal that occurred there.

Thank you, and now let's get down to business!

David
