New mineralization discovery called Ryan's Pond (+30 metres of 1.2%-Ni at 1600 metre depth) located about 5 kms SE of the Ovoid appears to be very significant.

This discovery probably indicates a new EW-trending feeder-conduit zone at Voisey's Bay. All other ore found to date (from the Reid Brook to the Far Eastern Deeps Zones--about 7 km in total strike length) is thought to be on a different feeder-conduit zone.

Regional geophysical signatures similar to Ryan's Pond (and Eastern Deeps) also occurs northeast of the Ovoid too.

This new discovery is pretty exciting -- congrats to the INCO-VBN exploration team.

P.S. "RP" was named in honor of Bruce Ryan, the lead geologist for the government GSB-team which mapped the VB gossan in 1986; Bruce also predicted the Eastern Deeps mineralization 8 months before DFR/Archean's DDH-166 intercepted it.
