Remember Meteot PLC..DWs European distributor Down 18% more It appears that European investors are not as easily stampeded as their American bovine counterparts. Meteor was trading yesterday at 7.5 pence down from around 60 pence just before DW raided them and from 9 pence just a couple of weeks ago. The short press release from DW that said nothing and basically lied about Camelot's financial picture, while it caused CAML tock to jump in the states had no effect on the continuing fall in the price of Meteor. I suppose that DW felt that he had to do something. He couldn't announce a competitive product or any increase in income so he relied on the old press release trick. But his one was real amazing. How many times have you seen a corporate CEO pay the money to issue a press release saying that he just didn't understand why investor confidence in his company was non-existent. Of course his back was against the wall. After all had the stock dropped a few more cents..even his 20 for 1 split would not have kept the price over a dollar to maintain a listing on NASDAQ. Guess what, there was a loud noise and all of the cows got spooked enough to move the stock price a bit. I am quite sure that the stock will be back close to the 10 cent mark as soon as the herd slows down enough to remember what reality is all about. Actually the process has already started...the stock trended back down over the last two days! My surprise is that there are any people that pay attention to anything issued by Camelot anymore. I guess there is a higher percentage of masochistic people in this country than all of the psychological statistics indicate!
