Shalom, I posted months ago that it was on the market for 2 months at
what they are going to appraise my house at in 1998. I had a recent add on to my one bedroom hut<g>.
Anyway, I disagree with the appraised value and the taxes they are hitting me with... the taxes alone are more than rent on some places.
And, Texas has low property taxes. But, Austin is different I guest.
They sock it to you.
Anyway, my CPA has had them make adjustments . when I completed this add on I didn't think about them coming back out and re-socking it
to me.Their records are pretty messed up now. I don't think they even know what to charge me. They combined some juristrictions and their computer now has my one bedroom house 20% smaller than it really is.
Must be a key punch error with all the acivity on my acct.
Anyway, it's a mess. but, i'll still let the paper work go though to correct the size of the house and then fight them over their inflated value becasue I tried to sell at that amts and could not sell at that amt. I'll do it the honest way.
It's a long story to nothing but gov't trying to take too much of my money through taxes.

We have a cold front here so we are playing cards in the house this afternoon....and some family prayer.
God Bless
