Can someone explain why SEG is so cheap?

Taking a look at their assets its amazing to me how cheap this stock is. Is SEG the only one who notices how cheap they are, and thus is majorily buying back their own stock (+20M shares last Q alone)???

The company's market cap is only $6B!! How can that be justified? Its 60M shares (35% stake) in VRTS alone is worth over $6B. Not to mention stakes in SNDK, ZOOX, and some private companies. Then another $1.5B in cash & short term investments... and add up all the other assets...you could break the company apart and get almost double its current stock price.

You also have new products (ala replay tv, etc...) coming to market that use gigs and gigs of DDs. I would think the value investors would be pounding the table on this one. Maybe its not as glamorous as networking..but it sure seems just to cheap to me.

Confused.. but buying up shares,
Sid
