On the topic of insurers, what do you think of FTR these days. I recall you recommending it as a long-term play, and it has recently been slaughtered when they delayed the release of their latest earnings by two weeks. The ML analyst thinks they will likely have to increase their loss reserves for the fourth year in a row and they've been hit with a bunch of downgrades. Think they're down for the count with real problems, or is there a good opportunity for a rebound when the financials are announced on the 16th? biz.yahoo.com mg
