If you write a put in an IRA, you must have all of the cash available to buy the stock if put to you. Same win/loss profile as covered calls, less commissions. Recovery techniques are also less robust. None allow it, that I've found. (and I suspect the lower commissions is the reason) Good luck. If you find one, let me know... Ira
