wouldn't that be voodo accounting, booking phantom royalties to yourself. that would also detract from the benefiet of selling the handset div. if they are already booking royalties then they will not gain anything moneteraly after the sale. i will be disapointed if this is the case. my enthusiasim about the sale is one they wipe out 40m in yearly losses and two they start collecting royalties on those asic's.
anybody with further thoughts on this.
