AHP is rumored to be in talks with WLA. Such a deal would reduce the number of LGND partners, since they now have SERM deals with both. However, the combined company would probably synergize well in this area. Under the AHP deal, two second generation SERMs, TSE424 and ERA929, are in the clinic, and the WLA deal is to develop 3rd generation SERMs. LGND also has SERM deals with PFE and LLY.
