Yes, it may be near bottom. Here is what it has done over the past 7 weeks. [15 to 8 1/4, -45%], at same time OTC was down 9.5%, Telecommunications Equipment Group was down 12.2%, AWRE was down 11%, and PAIR was down 31%. Amati broke thru support at 9 but that does not necessarily mean it will go lower now. Often a stock will go lower than support and then rebound significantly and quickly. As profitability gets near -- the wise will be buying. I suspect margin is causing problems for buyers in the 13 to 15 area. The chart looks like a plunge which will end abruptly early next week. Interest rates are not going to hurt Amati. The decline has affected interest sensitive stocks more than others. Amati was caught in the draft. Amati needs a good news release asap. Dr. John's shares were worth 36 million last year and only 8 million this year. He is probably not worried but some of the others probably are. Since/if they are upbeat, they must have something to announce soon that will return their shares to the big numbers of last year. Wishing for contracts, profits and a little showmanship. These boards hear much more from the negative hypers than from those called hypers. That certainly has had an adverse affect. The rate of change of the exponentially smoothed average price suggests the completion of the downtrend. The rate of change is bottoming out and shows signs of increasing. Folks should be buying, not selling. That is my personal opinion -- do you own research and analysis.
